Vijay shoots an action scene despite knee injury

Ilayathalapathy Vijay was recently injured on the sets of his upcoming Tamil film Thupaki. But it did not stop the actor from continuing the shoots, as he completed his portions despite hurting his knee.
Reports say that Vijay injured his knee while performing an action sequence for Thupaki. The actor's leg slipped when he jumped from a height and as he was not wearing a knee-pad, he got injured on the sets in Mumbai.
However, the Velayudham star, who did not wish to halt the shoots, completed his portions even though he was going through severe pain in his knee. Now, the actor has gone to London for treatment and the actor will wrap up the shooting once he returns to India.
Thupaki is a gangster film set in the backdrop of Mumbai and centred around the life in the streets of the commercial capital. The film produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu also features Kajal Aggarwal, Vidyut Jamal, Akshara Gowda and others in the cast.
