Vijay - Style King After Thuppaki

Ilayathalapathy Vijay will be known as “style king” after the release of AR Murugadoss directed Thuppakki. 

Producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu is blowing up big money to make it look grand and stylish. The shoot of the film is going on in Mumbai.

Vijay will be playing as an encounter specialist in the film with Kajal Aggarwal playing his lady love. Jai is acting as his younger brother. Jayaram character has shades of grey, while Sathyan will bring the house down with his comedy.

Harris Jayaraj has already recorded a song for the film sung by Vijay which is said to be a peppy fast number. AR Murugadoss the director of the film has dropped two of his regular’s art director Rajeevan and editor Antony and gone for veterans with a proven track record.

Murgadoss has roped in national award winning production designer the legendary Thotta Tharani and the wizard editing Sreekar Prasad for Thuppakki. Murugadoss wants the richness in production and sharpness in editing to be highlighted by the masters

Jai to play Vijay's brother in 'Thupaki'?


Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that Jai who has risen to the next level post the success of 'Engaeyum Eppothum', will be seen as Vijay's brother in the latter's magnum opus 'Thupaki', a much awaited film by the Ilayathalapathy fans.


"AR Murugadoss is on a hunt for an actor who can plan Vijay's brother in this film and when he told about this to Vijay he immediately suggested Jai's name. ARM is currently toying with the idea of approaching Jai for this role", says a source close to the development.

It may be mentioned that Jai is known for his features that resemble Vijay and the duo were seen as brothers in 'Bhagawathi'.

However we'll have to wait to know if Jai has booked a berth as a brother to Vijay in 'Thupaki'. An official announcement is expected to be made on this front...
